Getting to the Foundation is easy, no matter how you choose to travel. If you are arriving by car, there is a large parking lot adjacent to the building, which offers ample space for vehicles. If you prefer to take public transportation, the Foundation is easily accessible by metro, bus, or tram. The nearest metro station is Casa da Música. By bus you should take the 502 and exit at “Parque da Cidade” bus stop.
Once you arrive, you will be greeted by its striking modernist architecture and impressive art collection.

Conference Social Programme: Douro Valley Experience
Join us for an unforgettable journey through the breath-taking Douro Valley. Our excursion begins with a departure by bus from the Cupertino Foundation, heading directly to the heart of the region. Upon arrival, we will embark on a traditional Rabelo Boat for a picturesque one-hour cruise, offering stunning views of the Douro River and its iconic landscapes.
Following the cruise, we will continue our journey along the N222, renowned as one of the most scenic roads in the world. Our next stop is Pacheca Wine Estate, where we will explore the rich history and craftsmanship behind Port wine through an exclusive guided tour.
The evening will conclude with a delightful dinner at the estate, perfectly paired with its exceptional wines. After dinner, we will return to Porto, bringing back memories of a truly remarkable experience.
